United Healthcare sent a letter to UHC patients in error, stating Dr. Desai will be out of network by the end of February 2025. This error has been CORRECTED. Dr. Desai has been and will be with UHC. Dr. Desai and the Northern Virginia Family Medicine team will continue to provide care for you at NVFM as we always have.

We request you to call UHC member service at 1-800-782-3158 and have them put back Dr. Parimal Desai MD (NPI# 1134113285) as your PCP (primary care provider) effective 3/1/25. Many patients have had their PCP changed without their approval.
